Hi, I'm Aaron. I'm a social worker, and historical recreationist. I work mostly with people with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues. I gradutated from the University of Michigan School of Architecture in 1999, with a BSArch, and from Eastern Michigan University in 2007 with an MSW.

For fun, I build historical tents, furniture, sew clothing, cast pewter, carve soap stone, and paricipate in armored rattan combat (a form of full contact martial art). I also do some work working, and have recently taken to building stitch and glue boats.

Musically speaking, I build and play a variety of instruments. I've made drums, flutes, and a five string banjo. I play drums (dumbek, djumbe, frame drum), arabic flute or nye, guitar, and bass guitar.
